Medical Needling
Stimulate collagen and elastin production and the promotion of scar reduction through the body’s natural wound healing process.
What is Medical Needling?
Medical needling involves the use of a sterile roller surrounded by small needles. It is manually rolled across the skin in a crisscross motion causing thousands of micro wounds/injuries to the dermis of the skin. This treatment is used to reduce the appearance of acne scarring, particularly box scars and ice pick scars. Medical needling can also be used to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, treat fine lines, wrinkles and photodamaged skin. The micro wounds created by the roller stimulate collagen and elastin production and the promotion of scar reduction through the body’s natural wound healing process.
